Okay recently my car got jacked. I don't have a alarm and they didn't get off with nething worth over 20 dollars. I want to install a 1500watt alpine amp and two subs but iwant to make the power, ground, remote wire, and speaker wires to be able to be clipped together kinda like the back of a cd player that way i can remove my amp and subs every nite. Is this possible to do?

It's possible, but a stealth secure install will be just as effective. Also don't bump your system in your immediate neighborhood.

sure its possible. The clip for the smaller wires is easy. You will have to do some digging for the larger ones. But I am sure someone makes them.

It would be possible through connectors but not practical. Why not just bolt it all down and use a bunch of red Loctite (the stuff that never lets go, I think that's the red). I would choose that instead of having to lug the speaker box in every night.

like everyone said..just secure it real good to the car using bolts, and don't bump the system in your neighbor hood..also invest on a alarm.

My stereo is in my freaking back seat. I've never had an issue with thieves.

Then again, I rarely blast it in public, my car has a blinking alarm dot, and I don't live in the ghetto.

I'm also guessing a lot of them might look at the setup and think how much of a pain in the ass it would be to remove, so they forget it.

You could just get on ebay or somewhere and make up some of those clear "Protected by Viper Security" sticker and put them on each window. I know I wouldn't even think about trying unless you left your doors unlocked.

PwrRngr - Yeah, it's the Red locktite that's the best, it's for high-temp applications, you usually need a torque wrench/breaker bar to get it off.

Or better yet, get the stickers AND install your setup in the trunk, who's ever going to know you even have it? If they know you have it and decide to break in even though the Viper security stickers are on there, then use your key to lock your trunk from the inside, (Most cars can do that) Mine is a button in the glove box that turns off the trunk popper and then you can lock the glove box. That way they have to break the trunk open to get in, and once they do your ****'s bolted down. I would have given up long before I found out it was bolted down.

Its kinda hard to bolt my stuf down I have a hatchback and right underneath where my stereo sits is a space for a spare with maybe one sq foot on either side of the space for something to be bolted down and if i got box that wide it would have to be custom. I really only want my amp and subs n on the weekends when I drive for hours to go back home. I will get a blinking light and stickers for now. How much would a descent alarm system be keep in mind my car is a POS.

Bolt your box down and secure your amp. They make theft deterrent screws too - which use weird shaped heads.

Alarms these days arent too expensive and would be your best bet. It can even save you money on your car insurance!
