i read some of the wiring diagrams and i think im just gonna get a switch..my question is....does it matter what kind of switch you use? is their any you guys reccomend or what? thanx

anything... some look cool, some are simple some light up, some are big... anything under 10 amps is safe on just about any switch. visit your local radio shack for a wide selection and inflated prices icon_biggrin.gif

Switches depend on how many neons you're putting on it. Switches have an amp rating to them - they can only handle so many amps. But if you're just installing a few neons, that's nothing.

icon_neutral.gif well i only got a set of cold cathodes for now...soon to get 2 more sets..then the next thing is a bunch of leds...so the basic switch with an led in it will do fine for now..with a low amp rating

More cathodes then you can fit in your car... they draw VERY LOW amperage.. you could put 100 on a single switch and be ok...

go there they have sum nice switches just really expensive

i didnt like radioshacks selection of switches to tell you the truth mabye they were just out of alot of em.

dammmmn hommie those are NICEE i seen some of these be4....and you are right radio shack has some **** switches...i want something that has a led in it like the ones on that website..but i dont wanna pay 30 dollas for a switch..ill look around im sure i can find one for cheap..ill post if i see anything

well i can snatch sum heavy **** dity switches from school. those are hard to switcht hey tough it looks huge, i odnt think u want that. u want the same thing i was the led toggle, but u need one thats easy to wire and toggles easy and lights up lol i'll help aid u in your search

try radio shack, they have tons of switches on their website and in their stores, they aren't very expensive either.
