I will probably be installing my kit in a couple weeks as soon as it warms up...my question is....what is the best way to install/aim them....i was thinking these were my options:
#1) Put side tubes next to each other in the middle of the car and point outwards with the 2 end tubes as far in to the middle as possible and then point to the front/back #2) put all tubes as far to the edges as possible and aim straight down (a little out) #3) Place side tubes on edges and face to glow across the car out to other side and place front/back tubes closer to the middle and point to front/back Let me know how you've installed them and if it looked good or what you wished you would have done instead.. Thanks for your help, adamtmo000 |

adam: the first thing you said was the best one to go with but you probably dont have to put them close to in middle if you car is high enough that the glow will come out a good bit...try putting them closer to the side but pointing outwards that way the glow goes farther out....DO NOT POINT THEM DOWN..it will look very bad..and if you point each one to the opposite side i think it will look like a it a blue line SG kit...thats what i was told
THUGSTA:do you really need the instructions??...it is very easy to hook up..just mount the tubes where it will give the best glow....take the white plug on the ends of thecables coming off the tubes and plug them into the little black distribution block that has 6 slots...mount that somewhere safe from water and heat but make it easy to get to....then take the rainbow ribbon wire and hook that from the distribution block to the control box....then ground the black wire and use the red to wire and run it to one of the prongs on the switch...then from the other prong run some wire from that to the battery with a inline fuse within 18 inches of the battery...its not hard the whole thing took me and one friend like 2 1/2 hours,it would have went faster but my truck was hard to get under since its low so that slowed us down...........good luck |
