New Years Resolutions

Well, here in about 9 1/2 hours or so, I'll be done with smoking - which is the biggest NYR I've got this year.

What are your resolutions?

Eat Healthyer (my diet consists of meat)

Ummmm. Not hit the refresh button when I am on Oz as much so I don't see every post immediately after they are posted lolz

Hell if I know. I am very happy with my life and where I am at. I have a wonderful family, a healthy family, a fantastic girl friend, and a great job. I don't smoke, only drink on occasion, and don't do drugs. I love life. I have no regrets.

to get better grades and go off to lincoln tech in the summer

i resolve to resolve.

To spend money, go on some trips, get my own place, maybe a new truck, oh and I'll agree with Kramer, I should probably eat healthier.

stop smoking.
lose 30lbs by June.

buy another bike by spring, have all my debt payed off, be less of a ****, and finish my degree and start another. maybe not sleep around so much.
and maybe quit smoking.

Exercise more. Try to run at least 3 times a week, if not nightly. I'm not fat or overweight, I just like the feeling when I'm in shape.

Yeah, I don't have one. I'm pretty happy the way I am.

Its not necessarily a NYR, but I am going to try and start walking, jogging (thats pronounced with a soft j), and riding my bike more. I am a little over weight and would love to be in better shape.

Plus, my mom is wanting some help/encouragement in getting healthier and losing some weight.

my NYR is to get back in touch with the tuner in me, I have had a blaze kit in my garage in the box for 6 months now, ned to get it taken care of as soon as possible

-try to get back in shape..need to gain some weight to work out & get those muscles toned up again
-get my wrx
-stop being so dam shy and open up more
-live life to the fullest

neons are really a tuner thing...

shut up, lol, neons arent the only thing i "tune" with, when i said tuner, i meant the whole car area, not just neons, if you must know, i also have a Turbo Dodge in my garage, just happens to have a T2 sitting next to it, that needs to be finished as well, but military life sucks, and i dont have enough time to do it all

are you shore duty? if so then i can understand, but on shore command, when you go out for at least 2 weeks once a month, and you work from 0700 to 1900 everyday, and have a wife and 2 kids to take care of, along with other things?if so, then pardon me for not managing time properly, so I continue my statement, but only to rephrase slightly, Navy life sucks

exercise more... about 3 times a week go jogging. I weigh in at 215 lbs at 5.9", and that's tooo big for me. I used to weigh 180, my goal is to stay at 200 ish.

To be a better person in general. Save my money. Get better grades, and graduate. Enjoy life (I have been lately). Thats it i guess

stick to a steady workout plan
put on 20 lbs of muscle
get accepted to the police academy
finish the truck
go on a vacation that is enjoyable
fish more/camp more

Good luck, SickWitt... It's a hard thing to do but quitting is the best thing you can do for yourself.

As for me... I don't believe in resolutions... Too easy to break. I honestly feel that no change is possible in someone's life until the pain of doing something different is LESS than the pain of keeping on with the status quo. That's why s many people have broken their resolutions by February....

But, to each their own, and best of luck to all that made resolutions this year!

and who knows if that'd be car or bike related...

EDIT: and stay at my steady 135 pound weight limit (no matter how much I eat..I don't gain and ounce.)

air force, stationed in ohio. you at least have a schedual to work around. right now i dont even know what my work schedual is going to be looking like because of the new year. the whole wife and kids thing, have them help or work on your car during the week and friday or saterday take them to chucky cheeze

It DOES get better.

My problem isn't so much in stopping, as it is in not starting up again 6 months, a year, two years later.

....because experience has shown me that if I give in to that temptation even ONCE, I'm right back in the game.

Yeah, I hear 3 days from a lot of people. 22 hours in, On day 1; and I can officially say it **** sucks.

You need to do stuff that'll keep your mind off of it. Remember all the times and places you usually have a cigarette and ignore them. Keep yourself busy.
