I got my lights mounted I just can't draw enough power to them to get the bright. If I hook them up straight to the battery they are at their brightest. If I hook them up to my cobra eyes(windshield washer lights) they are not very bright at all. I need to hook them up to a switch also to turn them off and on. any suggestions?

Run a (i think 12 ga. wire would work good) off your battery and though the fire wall to the place you want the switch then back out the firewall to the power supply.

well there wasnt really a problem in the first place. My step-dad didn't understand how to hook them up and I did. But then he got me thinking about hooking them up to my windshield washer lights(cobra eyes). So I totally forgot about the other way to install them. Well then I was thinking that i didn't want to run them to the battery because it might short the lights with too much current. Then I found out what the restrictor box was for (Dah) and the fuse adaptor. So everything work out fine. I just ran the wires from the inside of my car where the engine is, and then connected all the right wires to the right place and BAM it works.
