Just got a new lens today. It's a Sigma 24-60 EX DG. Also a constant f/2.8, I love it. I might send it back to Sigma to calibrate it, not sure yet. It's pretty sharp.

Just dust. I was less than a foot away from the remote. It's got an insanely close focus distance.

The min focus distance is about 15 inches.

How much? I'm kinda bummed. My S3 that I paid $350 for last July is now the standard price of the new S5.

You can get a used one for ~$500. Body only though in most cases.

100% crop. Mirror lockup + tripod + cable release = very sharp
Another shot, resized. Same equipment used above. Very small aperture.

you can get a 8 mp canon 350d rebel xt with a lens for around 400 check my gallery to see pics i took with it the stock lens that came with it can focus super close too very good camera for the price
