best place for cathodes on headliner |

hey guys just wondering whats places u guys have put them things like that. i was gonn aget a 24 inch one and put it on the back by the rear windshiield but id hit it if i were in the car so i need sum where else to put it. whats the furthest width u can get with them from the center of ur car. i ewant them on the side of my headliner. downside is i need to buy two transformers

Hidden tubes won't give you the amount of glow that's like my sig, which is what it looks like he's looking for.
Those are where I placed mine. Not saying you have to, but I love it. Putting your's at the side would look just fine, and should give you an equal amount of glow. |

Aken, an idea for you... The little buttons in the back area's that are holding up the headliner... drill the centers out, counter sink LED's in them and use those to light up the rear seats... Then you won't notice them so much when their off. As for the cathodes, if I put some in my headliner, I'd probably cut a hole in the headliner, sink the cathodes in so they were flush with the headliner, then put a panel over them that made the cathodes not visible while off... like maybe a small piece of thin, tinted plexiglass.

I can hide them, or I can get glow in my entire car. But that may not work in all cars. |
