which way is good to tap the wire? i don't know which is best for neon light on footwell. you can see here
1 - cut the wire and put wire together with black tape 2 - quick connector 3 - tap connector 4 - quick slide connector 5 - quick splices 6 - Heat shrink tubes 7 - Butt connector |

For an exterior connection that is open to the elements you want the most resistent type of connection. I would say heat shrink it, then go over it with a nice amount of tape.

butt conectors or what I use is solder and tape or heat shrink depending on the size wire.
But butt connectors work if you have a good set of crimpers |

i'm wondering how do you connect with butt connector? do i need to cut the wire and put them inside butt connector
