So i wanted everyones opinion on car drying and how you do it.
Typically after i was and such i keep it out of direct sunlight and then i pull into the car port for the drying. While it's in their i have like 3 Chamois towels i use. Can be pricey but god they are good. I also use filtered water to rinse it after soap so it is amazing. This is what i use what do you use?

^^ I use the california blade as well to take off the big water. Never thought of a leaf blower though. What kind of luck does that bring?

I love the California water blade, but I really wish it had a soft handle instead of the hard one because I've accidently scratched my car before

I first use the California water blade, the soft flexible Jelly one,and then I use a large waffle weave micro fiber drying towel.Afterwards I'll go for a drive at highway speeds to get the remaining water out. Then I like to finish up by wiping the entire vehicle down with a micro fiber towel and some detail spray.

I drive down the highway too. Well just a road near me. So does no one use a Chamois?

I'm sure alot still do use a Chamois, but personally I don't care for them, they sometimes stink, they are pain to deal with when they dry out and some believe that they can actually pull wax from your vehicles finish.Sometimes I'll use my Absorber, which is somewhat like a Chamois, but synthetic, which works great too. |

Well, the one i have doesn't smell at all and never had a problem with drying. But come to think of it its synthetic chamois lol. Also i wax after drying not before.

You can practically dry the entire car with a washcloth .. Use either an electric leaf blower , or a gas blower that does not exhaust thru the tube(It leaves an oily film on the car if it does) |

I use a water blade, then a chamois. I was thinking of trying a waffle weave microfiber towel, but I've had this Meguiar's gold oversized chamois for like four years now and it was free and it's awesome.

Waterblade. Then 2 full size microfiber towels. I wash my car every other day. Works great for me.
And I wash my car at work inside in a heated garage with a wash bay. Tis the only reason I am still at this job

Gotta love jobs in the automotive field. I had a job at Autozone for a few months while I was in college. "Free" stuff (like the chamois) FTMFW

commercial leaf blower for me lol
nothing besides the leaf blower dries my truck. Chamois IMO r the worse..yea they dry you car but also leaves nice scratches. Those blades..crap..your washing you car a little bit of wind picks you some sand goes onto the paint..you pass the blade..now that sand is scratching your paint I've never tried the absorber but i'm guessing its the same thing as the chamois. |

I have a nice big waffle weave towel and a handful of chamois. I use the weave towel as much as possible, but use the chamois for the real drying.
I used to use the California blade, but I always feel like it is scratching my car because the edge seems so rough. I still use it for my roof and hood. |
