I drive a 2000 jetta vr6 and i wanted to install some leds into the turn signal's in the fenders and maybe into the tail lights. What do i have to do to get them to blink?

The led's I bought where the 5mm 12v ready ones from this site. I am trying to make sence of your picture witch im am thankful for
 . Can I group 8 leds together and splice the + to the + and the - to the - part of the wire that runs the turn signal wire and not cut off the bulb so the car still thinks theres a bulb there. Wll the leds blink if I do this?
