ok, some know and some don't know about my wheel ordeal.

RECAP!!!!!!
Bought ADR wheels before x-mas, now i have chipping clearcoat on 3 of the 4 wheels. just on the lips.

after reading and reading and reading i found a solution.

i used Aircraft remover on the lips and it took the clear off and it looks SOOOOOO much better then it did before.

Now, instead of re-clearing the wheels i was told i can just rub the wheels with some polishing compound.

i used the NANO polish today.

how often do i need to apply it? after everywash, every week or once every couple months?

the can didn't say anything about it.

any poinions on the polish would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Personally I'd buy some Zoop Seal , give them the BEST polish you can and then seal them per the instructions ... My bike wheels were done 3+ years ago and STILL look like new

Looks great, nice job. icon_cool.gif Really any decent metal polish will keep them looking great, but very few metal polishes offer any real protection from the elements/oxidation.You could follow up your wheel polishing with some WheelWax.If they were my wheels,I would just follow up after each wash with a quality wax.The Eagle One Nano that you previously used would be fine to use. icon_cool.gif

looks a lot better bro. I'm glad your not going to sell them. I think now they looks 100000000x better since you can get them to a more mirror finish

Definitely apply "WheelWax" or the Poorboys brand equivalent after you polish.

I have a can of WheelWax and it's the cat's meow...fo sho.

^^ Is there any kin dof substitute for a "wheel wax" you could use like wax period or does it have to be specific?

I've used regular wax before and it doesn't do the best job. I'd stick to wheel specific waxes.
