Just a thought/observation:

Being that the V2 only holds 5% of UB kit purchases, wouldn't that usher in a price adjustment to get sales up?

Haha, too bad I don't know the magic number, but I would think if you can hit somewhere in the $300 range, maybe sales will climb. The current price is definitely a source of second-guessing, as the 5% of UB sales number shows. Maybe that percentage isn't dynamically calculated?

Perhaps its a marketing thing? The V2 is a significant upgrade from the original Inferno, yet "Inferno V2" in itself doesn't (to me) paint the picture that it truly $200+ different.

$350 does sound pretty appealing, but a $100 price drop isn't a small amount.

Its also a newer product. So It wont make a huge dent in the Percentage sold.

I doubt that 5% isn't accurate. I'd like to see to this date the numbers for kits sold in percentages. I remember seeing that 5% when the UB informational table went up.

You know what guys, lets try it at $120 off / $369.99 for a while and see what happens.

Tell your friends!

http://www.oznium.com/inferno-v2

Ultimately, the problem is that the V2 hasn't hit the same critical mass / tipping point that the original Inferno has enjoyed. As of today, there's only 1 customer review, while the Inferno has 32 spectacular reviews. The source of this problem is a lack of marketing - both external, and internal (page description and photos).

I certainly hold you guys in a high regard, and I'd like to thank you for your sincere interest in Oznium's continued growth.

I love Phil :)

Some people say some simple things on the forums, he takes it into consideration, and goes for it.

Way to go Phil. Grip it and rip it icon_biggrin.gif

Phil, you should make a thread over at Grandamgt.com.

I know you're one of the sponsors, I've seen a few banners of yours there.

Make a thread announcing the discounted price.

Make that 2 reviews. I thought I had done one originally, but didn't so I went and did one real quick.

More action shots and videos would be nice (IMO) to add to the page. 2 Advertisement videos and 5 action pics really don't do much to show the "full" potential of the kit.

Just my opinion.
I'll probably pick one of these up in a couple weeks if its still at the lowered price.

I should have some more pics up whenever I get my V2 back from Oz.

There are also some picsof it in my gallery, that I don't think are on the prodcut page.

this thread is just a week too late.... I woulda bought the v2 over the original and $350. I do agree it needs more advertising. I couldn't justify the price jump cause I am not really informed on the product and all it has over the original.

Just following up 2 months later - After dropping the price from $449.99 to $349.99 ($100.00 off), the order volume has significantly increased. We've been able to get these super bright Inferno V2 kits glowing under a bunch more cars.

Justin, I'd like to thank you for starting this topic. And a big thanks to all customers for the tremendous support.
