Hey oznium forum peeps.

My name is chris aka SyTrepT.

I live in tampa, im 21 and im in the process of modding my motorcycle.
I've done all the performance mods and just decided last night I want to put lighting effects on it. Strobing color changing LEDs in the lights signals and maybe some sort of glow underneath...

so yeah.. i will be around asking random questions and hopefully will post up pics of my mods in the near future.

Its a suzuki sv650... but with race fairings and more money in mods than the bikes actualy worth.. haha. it looks nothing like a stock SV.

Its fugly with sanded primer and bare fiberglass right now. i recently decided to cover pretty much all of the bike with fiberglass to hide the frame and motor. I want make it look like nothing else... Completely custom... i will snap some pics later

And last night I had this random idea to integrate strobing LEDs into my headlights, turn signals, and wherever else they might look cool.

My car is just a regular pontiac grand prix. I never drive it due to the price of gas and insurance cost.... It just chills in my drive way. its white and has a custom dent in the door from when i rolled it on its side.



but yeah... recently i've been getting into the whole customization thing... I've messed with fiberglass about a year ago, then got into HID lighting a few months ago, just bought two paint guns for auto paint, and now im looking at lighting effects.

Heres my bike when I got locked out of my house after buying a pair of shoes, duct tape and a red marker... just playin.. was doing a mock up to see what it would look like if i covered the frame with fiberglass (working on that right now)

rofl.. my bike is ugly at the moment. Dont have to pretend and say its nice...

and the car... well... I lost control due to a spare tire and wet road conditions,
i fish tailed and the counter steered... over countersteered, fish tailed the othr way and
the car spun around and the tires caught the curb/grass at the same time i supposed and it
just rolled up on its side and stayed there.... the lawn had super thick grass and
there was hardly no damage and it stayed like that until the highway patrol came over and made fun of
me.

^^ No i was just saying that that bike is epic because of the stuff on there from a shoe box.

Tis a GOOD **** story too with that car mishap. This is one of the best i have heard in a while.

and i like your bike weather it's finished or not, i'm pretty sure it'll look good eventually.

lol yea this site has seen a lot in terms of 'in the works' kind of threads..
and that bike, how it is in the pic is awesome.. the flames from exhaust.. and the doodles.. lol

It's not a work in progress, but merely just a a project that awaits the next step.

i like the sv.. its great bike for wheelies.. just got ride of my 02 ima end up getting a 05 like yours eventually.. i like em cuz they have alot of torque

Sv650 is a good beginner bike. It doesnt go too fast so your less likely to kill yourself. It has power through out all the RPM range and is more 'streetable' than the race replicas (gsxrs, r6, ectt... ) where you need 10k+ rpms get have rocket power...

Theres tons of mods in the market for them.

Its also a very popular race bike for lightweight racing...
Spend some money to upgrade the suspension and it can stupid fast in the twisties.

Due to the construction of the motor; wheelies can strave the front cylinder of oil.
I'm talking about 10'o clock wheelies... lasting over 10 seconds... Its a torquey engine and easy to wheelie... but i wouldnt do wheelies excessively.



but yeah... in the biker community the ignorant call the SV a girls bike because it doesnt put out so much power....
