ok, so i'm feelin moderately generous and i've decided to give away some of the stuff i've found in my neon/led box. heres my rules for this thread. givers may not charge for items being given away, only charge for shipping. recievers shall recieve if buyer is not a jackass (i wont charge for shipping single LED, but the LED bar thing shouldn't be more than a dolla or 2)
-UV LED (i know i have but gotta find) -bobby lee
-Red LED (soon as i get an addy) -sickness
-LED bar (2 red and 2 blue, one blue doesn't light up at the same time as the others for some odd reason? it lights up, but not w/ the others unless you cross some wires. its weird but works) -unclaimed

2 white LEDs-banned has claimed one already, and domestic disturbance gets the other

(with resistors of course)
one LED per person... thanks!

details on the "bar"

its about 4 1/2 inches long. 4 LED, 2 blue 2 red. all wire connections are soldered together. heres the catch, one of the blue ones doesn't light up w/ the other 3. it lights up, just not w/ the others. its weird b/c i was testing it and if i move my tester wire past the resistor, then it'll light up really bright, but if its before the resistor, it doesn't light up at all. theres a resistor before each LED and all LEDs are grounded to the same wire so its a 2 wire connection thing. i'm trying to give as much detail about it as i can so you wont be expecting something totally awesome when you get it. you can def tell that its hand made and not very well i might add (cuts thru plastic are shoddy and not straight, wiring is sloppy but gets the job done) the wire out the long side (connected to the black wire) is the ground where as the wire coming out the short side of the plastic (connected to grey wire) is the power. if you have any questions post em or IM me

Dude, I totally wanted to do that in the wagon.

I might do it for my car, but only to be goofy. Maybe a Dells thing.

Does anyone have anything left their giving away? I'd be willing to take something off of your hands. I'm just beginning to mod my car and I think it's gonna be a lot of fun!

It's a 1996 Red Mercury Sable.

I'm giving it a blue interior glow. I've gotten two trailer lights mounted under the dash, two 10" rings under the seats, and a basslight in the back.

It kinda sucks, I know. But I'm really short on money right now :-(. Any ideas?

Well one cheap thing... is a piezo siren from radio shack. $5. Put that under the hood in the grille. Then wire it to a momentary push button in the car near the wheel. It is fun for messing with pedestrians or other cars.

I'd rather only do lighting modifications. That's really the only thing that I'm interested in doing. It's cheap (relatively) and keeps my car so I can revert it back to normal before I have to sell it when the time comes.

It's the interior. It became blue on the inside b/c I got a cheap neon from a friend. Then I was able to get two blue trailer lights, and my CD player has a blue display, so I figured I'd go all out with blue. Red on the outside, blue on the inside icon_biggrin.gif
