I am wanting to change out the status LED on my alarm system (cheap K-9 mundial), and put 2 to 4 Blue LEDs in place on the A and C pillars of my car. How would I go about wiring this up?

God, I forgot I posted this... Anyways, I figured it out, wasn't 2 hard. I did cheat though and used some cheap LEDs from Pep boys. I bought the 3 LEDs with a switch and 12v (looks like a AA) battery/holder.
I did not have any problem hooking them up. I cut one of the new LEDs off of the circuit, and cut the old LED off the alarm. I then wired the 2 new LEDs right to the alarm. The new ones are mounted, one on each side, of the windshield. The give off a pretty bright and nice glow, lighting my dash when they blink. |

yah, you can parallel wire as many 12v accessories as needed to your alarm. Your alarm has a maximum output so you may want a relay if you add too many, but 4 LED's is no problem at all.
