has to be the most boring place on the face of the earth... kinda wish my dad won the lotto so i could just buy a bunch of **** and work on my car all summer. but that won't happen, knowin my luck.

i feel sorry for your GF... even though education program here is supposedly really good. You kinda have a choice on city or rural area... alot more farms though, and tornados. haha, i even got a hat that says "Nebraska, we grow corn"

If you're under 21, single, and have no kids, it's likely to suck, because there's not as much to do, nor as many places to go, as most other states have.

If you're over 40, married, and the kids are grown and gone, it's likely to suck, because there's not as much to do, nor as many places to go, as most other states have.

If, on the other hand, you're 29 years old, have two young daughters to raise, and there's a job opening in your field in a small Nebraska town, where violent crime is low and life is wholesome (if boring)......you might actually CHOOSE it.......

I wouldn't want to raise two daughters anywhere but the middle of a corn field in a small Nebraska town. Wisconsin would work too.

I love Nebraska! Just graduated college, have a great job, and love where I live.

The only thing I don't like about it right now is all the tornadoes, flood, and damaged that we've had in the past few weeks.
