Well... sounds like it's time for me to move to Ohio!! Pretty lenient by the sounds of it, I'd love to be able to drive with any of my lights on period.

I called the Ohio state highway paatrol and they said blue is illegal in any way shape or form.

Red is totally illegal also.

Strobes totally illegal.

Everything else is fine.

I live in trentonj nj and use my ufo's on my supra all the time thru ewing and trenton with no problems, even went to ac but did get stopped buy state trooper and he just told me to turn them off on the highway, last night im crusin thru town and my radar goes nuts for 5 seconds and suddenly theres a trooper to my left at the red light, hes in the left turn lane , as I pull off he decided to follow me so I pulled over to let him pass and he turns on his bubbles, so I pull over, he asks for my paper work and then ask if the interior of the car is real snakeskin, so I inform him I do custom interiors and that its embossed leather, he informs me he does not know if the lights are illegal but suggests I turn them off, I complied , gave him my business card, and sailed off into the night, I am trying to get a clear interpretation of the law at this moment and see it varies state to state when they are on I always obey the speed limit but if I have to get busy they get turned off so I can warm the twins up!! mj.gif

like people said in the post you made and call your local police and ask. ask if the can print you out the section in the law where it says that it is illegal/legal so you have prof. in Ohio it turns out that state police says its legal but certain cities say its illegal (like mine) its all about how that department interprets the law

I only have 1 problem. I mounted my lights almost a full foot under my car, I mean 1 ft back from the edge.

When you are more than 50 ft away you can fully see most of the LED tubes.

They are all pointed at a aminimum of 45 degree angle towards the ground and really arent very bright at all to directly look at.

lol @ "seeable"

the cops around here don't really care if you can see them or not... I see them all the time with visible tubes.

I partially hid mine.

I even developed some new tech in the meantime.

Take your vehicle and run it thru mud puddles to get your LED's dirty and then they don't show as bad but are still bright!

Haha, I kinda hid them.... they're in my roommate's bed at the moment... lol

I pulled the whole kit off, and am waiting for Oz Customer Service to email me back..

Coolbam, what the **** does speed have to do with your lights? I'm pretty sure you can't outrun the light itself, so why does it matter. My car does 69MPH too icon_rolleyes.gif
