For those of you with Turbo cars what kind of boost gauge do you have? I was thinking of getting this Autometer one because I like the flourescent green background. Does anyone have one that changes colors or looks better?

I like these gauges and they make them in a 7-color form also...

Those Greddy gauges are nice but they are a little pricy for me. I have that HKS turbo timer and I would recomend it. I am using a manual boost controller for now, but when I get bigger turbos I will probably get the Apexi AVC-R Boost Controller found here.

Well the one i am working on paying off will be a precision turbo, running 10psi. I want it there in case i need to run a quick turn down of the boost.

^^ you need to upgrade the damn turbo first lol. Or the gauge won't even read the boost. biglaugh.gif

jk man. 17lbs is good, but i imagine with some nicer equipment you could be putting it to the line alot better.

yeah the t25 thats on there now is the stock sr turbo and its running at full potential on full boost its pretty much dialed in.

BUT the other night i was driving home threw out TINY town of sjo and low and behold what do i see a bright red and black 240 just sitting infront of a house.

I of course stoped and gandered at it it had min. plates and windows open as i keep looking at it i get a lil to close to the open garage and the dang motion light come on and not 2 min after that the owner of the car came out can asked can i help you.

i said you have a beautiful ride man. he said thanks and checked mine out he said yours aint to bad either. so we got to 240 talking and i asked if i could see inder the hood

long story short OMG hood comes up to reveal a red top sr painted black with a HUGE turbo sitting tight next to it.

HES RUNNING 27LBS!!!!

Name was nick went to uti in chicago same as me and is a stand up guy!

i told him id see him around and he said hes going back home and wont be back here for a long time sigh i hope i see that car again!

^^ NICE

there are two 240's running here. One red and black the other like a purple metallic color. both 95's.

and BOTH running LS1 swaps with a few extra goodies. The things without forced induction dial in at a whopping 600hp. And thats just fun. I have NEVER seen a 240 pop the front tires at a red light. Until a week ago. puppy_dog_eyes.gif
