I'm having a problem on finding a place to hide my front tube on my grand prix because the place i would like to put it is right in the open and you can see it good and another spot it don't fit. I put it on my grand am i have that have a air dam on it and hid it behind that but there is no glow coming out in front of it.

if i would get a new air dam for my car(old one broke off when i hit a snow drift to hard) and cut it down so that it just hide the tube do you think it would hide the tube good and let the glow come out in front better?

another thing, how close is to close for the back tube to the mufflers, mine would be about 8" from them but the ends would be about 1/2" from the tips but they are thick tips and don't get hot really.

the thing is the tube would be right where you can see it and the only way you can hide the tube would be putting tape all over the tube so it wouldn't glow worth ****..

Keep in mind it is not going on that car in the pic it is going on my Grand Prix.

If you can get your hands on another air dam just cut some retangular holes in the bottom of it. I had to do that to a friends civic.

Here are a few shots I took. The first is before I made the cuts and the second is after. The third is when it was getting a bit darker.

If you can, get a pic of the underside. I'm usually pretty decent at being able to figure stuff out.

I've also had good luck with hiding stuff on cars.

The back part of my car had NO WHERE to hide the tube, so I actually cut up one of the black L strips that were packed with the kit and used it to hide behind.

You can see the ties holding the tube, which glow when the kit is on, but you can't see the LEDs themselves. I had to have just a little shown otherwise it would've killed the glow still - same effect as your picture.

I have the ICELED kit, so I'm able to angle it and make it directional... so I mounted mine between my tires. You can't see it from the side, and from the front, it's too far back to see, but it still glows out. It also makes it nice in that position as when I go over speed bumps, the tires lift the tube over the speed bump rather then the tube hitting the speed bump before the tires get to it. In addition, I used a steel L beam just to make sure it wouldn't bottom out and get crushed.

you could get creative with your airdamn and build the bottom part of it out of plexiglass.. then the light would still come through the front, but the bar would be far enough back that you wouldn't be able to see it without getting on your hands and knees...

I'm still thinking of just getting a new air dam and cutting it down to be just taller then the tube, then it would be the same as my side.
