Very intriguing. I think you're building a Warp Core with Antimatter Fuel Rods.

Hmm...could this be those custom warp nacelles you were talking about doing on the sides of your amp rack?

I'm gonna guess some kind of door sill backlight project, or something to do with water, maybe some kind of glowing pipe idea...

*DING DING DING* WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Yup, i'm actually building a Warp Core with Antimatter Fuel Rods. Simulated parts include:
- matter/antimatter reaction assembly (M/ARA)
- warp plasma conduits
- Containment field generators
- Plasma core

Update: With this cursed rain, I haven't been able to paint until yesterday.....but it yielded some awesome results:

First up: Containment field generators. in the event of a warp core rupture, it keeps antimatter from leaking all over my new leather seats.

User posted image

Antimatter Fuel Rod: Similar in design to a warp nacelle but stores the matter and antimatter that feeds the warp core

Are these going in the car, or are you just building them for the hell of it? Either way there very cool.

It's going inside the car, inside the amp rack where the crossovers used to be. I used to have 4 xovers, then i went active on the front channels. I moved the rear channel crossovers to the walls leaving an open space in the center of the amp rack....space for the warp drive.

Here's a scale sketch of what I plan for it to look like:
