So guys whats should i do. I have 8 6" Inferno V2 lights and my brain is now shot and i called up CS at oz and they said they never heard of the problem i am having and thats about it. I am assuming that there is no warranty on the brain on the Wheel Well kit. The problem i am having is.....when i turn on the switch 6 of the 8 lights come on with the brain being displayed as P which means it is off. Every tube is displaying a different color and one is actually cycling through all of the colors. I turn it on and only 2 tubes follow what the brain is actually displaying and the other tubes do what the hell they want and i have no control over them. Im guessing the brain is shot but here is where the "what should i do comes in" should i sell my 6" tubes 4 of which i use for interior and use trons for my footwell lighting. Also remove the tubes from above the wheels and EVENTUALLY replace them with ICELED products since i will be getting my UFO tommorrow. What should i do?

I will have 3 Trons so i will still need one for my interior lighting but needing one compared to 4 is a big difference. What would you guys suggest i get to lights above the wheels? Keep in mind the waterproof floods are no longer made so a Flood would be out of the question.

Sell me your trons and buy a new ecu. I think the V2 is brighter than ICELED

no not yet. it worked fine with the 8 for the past couple months or so and it says on the page it will work with an unlimited amount of tubes. I switched the inputs around to see if the odd pattern followed and it did so i know its not the tubes.

hmm...seems like a defect to me. Oznium should cover that. Too bad I've never messed around with the controller before, so I can't give much input on that.

Yea i thought oznium would cover it also but all the guy on the phone said was "hm never heard of that" didnt say a damn thing about replacing it. He said i could take everything off send it all to them and they could look at it. Im definetly not taking all 8 tubes out just to put them back on because the controller isint working right.Thats insane! I also sent an email because i couldnt get through on the phone the first couple tries and that was yesterday afternoon and i havent heard anything yet.

hmm....looks like the controller to me. Call and ask if you can send the controller in, so they can look at it.

You're having ECU problems and when they say "send it to us so we can figure out what's going on" you say that's crazy?!? I had a cheapo interior kit fail and the vendor said "send us the entire unit and a check/Money order for $40 and we'll look at it, that was crazy but Oz is more than likely going to take care of you with out screwing you....

I have a feeling your ECU is having issues but also you've got connection issues. My kit when power is applied to it turns on instantly to the last program it was powered down via the remote with (cept color loop). Now if I have the unit powered off via the remote and connect tubes to it, they will turn on and start cycling on auto OR will resume what ever the last color they were last powered down via the remote with (when I did a Green ground with Red mover and then powered the tube up alone it'd always show Green till I manually jumpered the signal wire to positive to turn it to cycle).

So I'd first check all your connections, then see if running each tube on it's own with each terminal to isolate tube or connection port and THEN call OZ back and talk with them...

no im saying its crazy to remove 8 tubes when its not the tubes if i removed all 8 tubes i would of had to remove all of the tires and rip my whole interior apart to uninstall everything. All my connections are in there i took them all out and put them all back in and none of which were out or loose to begin with.

Honestly, if it were me I would take everything off and send it to OZ. In fact this is exactly what I did with my full V2 when it started messing up the first time. I e-mailed them, they hadn't heard of the problem but agreed to look at it. I got timely updates on what was going on with testing and repair/replace on the kit. IMO it was very much worth it.
