Due partly to poor design and much to my abuse, the receiver box for the inferno v1 has a few wires loose.
Here's what's connected (from top to bottom): Mic-0 - Blue Gnd - empty Clk - empty Data - empty Rem - purple Gnd 2 - Orange Stab - empty That leaves me with a green line and a gray line that aren't connected to anything. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to go to clk and data but I'm not sure which color goes to which point. Anyone help me out? |

Okay so the issue is at some rate the wires were removed and resoldered (least that's how it looks), so the grey, green, brown and black (which is cut flush with the main cable insulation) are not connected. Now I figure the black is ground but the other three wires are unknown. *will include a crappy pic when my phone decides to send the image*
The good news is a V2 display works with V1 ecu's (and I'd assume all the other flowlighting kits) and if I could I'd buy another V2 display since it's WAY smaller than the V1... Also the V2 remotes work with V1's but the button patterning is baised around the V1 remote layout.... It's interesting to see how much things are different with the V1 over the V2 from the simple change of master ECU control to ECU to mini brain in each tube control. I wish my V2 could do color loop while doing any of the motion activities... |

Well I did it myself and the wiring goes as such:
Yellow = +5v empty = STAB orange/brown = GND1 Purple = REM Green = DATA Grey = CLK empty = GND2 (it's linked to GND1 on the pc board) Blue = MIC-O Hope this helps somebody in the future.... Tho I do request that OZ starts selling the V2 displays, I don't like how large the ~V1 display is and since the V2 display (and mic) work just as well I'd love to upgrade to a smaller unit... |
