anyone know of forums just for emergency lighting, or even forums for cops and firefighters where they would sell used products? im looking to add some more strobes and maybe some talons to my set up but since its for show and not emergency use its not worth retail pricing to me..
i have found eLightbars.com but i cant get an admin to approve me so i can shop :p |

For starters talons are out of production lol Whelen has started a new line called the Avengers. A few places i shop are.... www.sirennet.com www.strobesnmore.com www.fleetsafety.com and http://www.lshlights.com/AMAZING/items.asp?Bc=C...arson+Sirens&CatName=Sirens. That last link takes you right to the page and just lshlights wouldnt work. I dont have any forums for ya though sorry. Shop around and you will find some places to be cheaper than others. Sirennet is pretty much the cheapest though.
Thanks Phil!!! I had this page bookmarked on my old computer before it crashed and i lost it and couldnt think of the name of it. Their prices are also pretty cheap too. |

look on craigslist as well ... many firefighters quit and sell them on there ...there are three lightbars listed now on mine as well as sirens ect and craigslist don't care if they are red/blue

I think it might have been Mr. Ratz that had an issue with strobesnmore? Horrible customer service.
edit: nope it was pork http://www.oznium.com/forum/topic3645-highlight-strobesnmore |

I've bought from strobesnmore never had a problem ... I've had trouble with Galls , I sent my strobe power supply back to them for replacement , and although someone signed for it they deny that they recieved it ...They claim the signiture is not one of their employees therefore it never arrived there

Strobesnmore and LSH have pretty good customer service no problems with them. Fleet Safety's is fair and Sirennet have yet to answer 3 or more of my emails asking about products.

Another strobes n'more customer. their 60 watt 4-6 channel kit is plenty bright with many options including front/rear selector, low power mode and many popular flash patterns. for LEDs, I usually build my own Light heads and use SHO-Me LED flashers. |
