Ok guys now you all know i hate subs but i couldnt pass up free subs...
So my friend gave me 2 12'' kenwoods with a 1000w amp so i spent some time installing them...... 1st time install with no clue what to do..

I hooked everything up the right way i think

but when i went to flip the key on i got nothing

I have it hooked up as follows

User posted image

now the problem is that when turned on the amp does not, wont light up or anything

so i went and hooked up the + and took the ground off and touched it to my grounding point and got nothing no sparks or anything, every now and then i get a tiny tiny spark

i know its not the inline fuse thats good or the fuse in the amp cuz it was blown but i replaced it.

anyone know whats wrong??

That is your remote terminal. Just to test it you can take a small wire and jump the constant power over to the pcon terminal and your amp should turn on.

But you need to run the blue remote wire from the back of your headunit to that terminal. Or any other key switched 12v power source to that terminal, however you want to do it.

Might wanna get some ring or spade terminals for the power & ground wires. They're cheap and will be much easier to work with if you ever need to disconnect the amp.

Yup no remote = no go, like they said.

Also man, those wires are scary close, don't let them effers touch!
