Been tossing around the idea of adding some glow to the Jeep, but it's not really the right setup for underglow and such (since that stuff wouldn't last 3 minutes on the trails i like to run). Not much for underseat lighting in this thing either.

I've got a few ideas already...

- swap gauge/dash/dome lights for LEDs
- white lights in wheelwells/bumpers/rear quarters for rock-lights for night trail-rides, not sure how many per wheel, or what type to use..floods? spots? superflux? modules?
- red spots on a swivel bracket on the window trim by the grab handles so peeps riding with me can read at night without using the domelight or flashlights
- setup some yellow spots or something in every other grill slot so it matches my bumpers (caution tape) at night. not sure how to go about setting up cut-offs and such to keep the light in it's allocated slot though

anyone have any other suggestions? I'm looking more towards a functional purpose than show/fun (grill's an exception), but throw out whatever y'all got icon_smile.gif

you could make some heavy ass duty white leds to put under neath for night wheeling, one thing ive been wanted to do is pull hte gauge cluster use paint thiner to get the old green paint off the back of the gauges and repaint...but i dont have near enough time

Beefy Strips under it would work, IMO.

inferno V2 would work under it, phil says if you break a tube he'll replace it (it's indestructible)

ya just have to mount it real good

nail polish remover and some q-tips did the job for me..
then some little leds fabbed into the cluster and its done

Was thinking about that, might just go with the Flowlighting single color in white. Don't really want underbody glow, although just white would work rather well for lighting up the ground, esp. with the lift and such. Granted I'd have to clean the tubes on a routine basis to keep any semblance of light output going... heh
