I seen this on another site. Me personally. The Lambo Murc is my absolute favorite car of all time. Odds are I will never come close to be able to afford one. Maby this would be a fun ass project. God would that be cool to have a car that looks like this. Yes you don't have the power. But frankly I don't care. I could fulfill my dream of owning a "Murc"

What are your guys views on it? Dumb? Good idea for the non millionaires?

I'm not a big fan of it. Yeah it's cool and it has the looks. But IMO, it's essentially "rebadging" your car to something it's not. I think it's a cool idea, but I would never do it.

If I had one. I wouldn't put the lambo badges on it. As i am with you there. Don't badge something that it truly isn't no matter how much it looks like it. But I would def rock the styling.

I used to think that way about all kit cars, but this one is sweet. I would never tell somebody it was a Lamborghini though, I would tell them it was a replica.

Why is the Fiero the car of choice for these type of kits?

Closes to the body type? I dunno. But the feiro always seems to be it ya. Even for the ferrari kits. But then again they almost do resemble a ferrari to begin with.

Fierro; Rear Engine and all fiberglass to begin with. Just about all the body panels can be unbolted from that car.

Plus, they are cheap! People love to do it with old VWs as well.

Get it quick , Lambo prosecutes kit car companies pretty quickly ... I ordered a kit and in the two weeks I was waiting the Company got a court order to stop production immediately ..
I got one of the last kits out of the production line

There's a set of molds for a Lambo Countach just above Wooster ... He started production made three cars and was shut down (I see them sitting in a barn, keep thinking about stopping and see if he wants to sell them)... Evidently they have people just looking for kit cars , even if they are not EXACT duplicates they can get them shut down cause they look "similar" to them

If I recall correctly, you have to extend the frame of the Fiero to make the lambo kit work.

You know when I was looking a the fiero I though WTF that looks way to short. But with the kit on it looked good. Now it makes sense. Would be hella worth it though.

I would not spend the money to make the replica. >.< If I can't have the real thing rather not have it at all.

Thats how I am...

I MIGHT consider doing it if I has a Fiero laying around and had 4K to spend... But other than that, I wouldn't run out and buy a Fiero for the sole purpose for this kit...

Was this a swap? 2.8 was the factory motor. That must move. I had an 85 GT. It was a lot of fun. Got rear ended and that was the end of it. Repair was going to be more than car was worth.

Also there was the Fiero Mera that looked like a Ferrarri but was major dollars. I thinkyou could get a Corvette for what that went for at the time.
