It's: "Hey y'all, welcome to Oznium. We have sum of them thar glowin stuff if ya want it, can't answer right now cus we're watchin tha race. Korn: TAVERN? Don't really have "Taverns" in the south..... We call em "Sports bars" or Back Porch might be appropriate as well. I believe I have too much of a southern accent to do this....well, I don't think I do, but apparently Phil's friends do. |

yeah, korn, Tavern?!?! Is that a yankee thing? Don't have any of those around here.
Losing, you should do a recording too. Evidently I have a strong southern accent according to korn, but he is a damn yankee, so what does he know. |

Something about the first one you did a couple years back sounds better. I don't know the best way to describe it. More upbeat, a little faster. Or maybe I'm just so used to the first one this new one sounds weird. What does everyone else think? First one a few years ago: http://www.oznium.com/voice/maingreeting.wav New ones just emailed: http://www.oznium.com/voice/ozthankhold.wav http://www.oznium.com/voice/nocall.wav |

Man....my mic is really bad quality. Fairly clear for what it is. I need to get a new one and a good recording interface so I can start recording music. I had a ghetto pop filter for this one, ha, helped a little. |

When I get home from work tommorow, I'll play around and see if I can voice match the old greeting.
Weird thing is, in voice work most people drink lots of water. However, I tend to drink Cherry Pepsi as it brings out a smoother, more deep tone in my voice. I take payment calls for Boost Mobile and I get compliments on my voice all the time. BTW, it would be a bit disturbing if I heard one of Losing Quickly's funny prompts on the phone. I could just picture someone sitting in a warehouse in a dingy white wifebeater with saggy overalls and Nascar cap "scritchin" himself and spittin into a pot.
