Does anybody have a good way to hide my led tubes under my car? Right now i have the front and the back pointing in and i just used duct tape on the back of the tubes, but i want a more perminant rig. O and my side tubes are visible too-which are pointing down and away from the sides. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The leds only shine through one half of the tube, so i turned the front and back tubes so they are shining under the car more. I then duct taped the back of the tube-where no light shines through, and then trimmed of the extra. I did this cuz i needed to cover the tubes up quick cuz i got pulled over 2 times in a week while driving with them on-only cuz the tubes are showing, neons are legal where i come from.

How aboout you just buy some sheet metal and screw it into your frame on the bottom then bend it so you wont see any of your tubes..it would only cost like $50 for sheet metal!

Like i have said before, it is perfectly legal to drive with neons on in North Dakota.....so stop suggesting that i just turn them off and dont drive with them on.

or you can weld/bold up some L beams and put the tube in the L of the beam. both will hide the tube. |

I got some nylon mounting clips with my OPTX kit. They work pretty well and most of my tubes are hidden behind a "jackstand lip" for lack of the proper term. I could probably do with a few more of them in the very center of the tube so it doesn't sag in the middle though.

That doesn't help to hide tubes.

I have the same problems with the UB I installed. You can see them if you are about 10 feet away from my car and bend down a little. What I'm going to do is get a Body kit and lower my car a little. That's the only thing I can think of. Cause my car doesn't have any place to hide them behind.

Lowering the wind noise on my Lexus LS430 (BTW, quietest interior of any car made) they put flat panels on the bottom of the car. Therefore there is no way to hide the tubes

Well i got mad and i just decided to point the tubes towards the middle of the car and i duct taped the exposed side. It seems to be working fine.......just have to see how long the tape will last. Thnx for all the replies
