Ok so my sister's car has been in need of new tires for a few months now and it's about time to get new ones. I've called around town, and these are the cheapest prices I got so far:

235/45 17" all 4 tires + installation costs

Capital Sports for $389
Riken Raptors for $467
Dayton Fuzions for $472

After looking around online, the Riken's seem to be the best ones for every day driving. I've seen some iffy reviews about the Daytons, and the Captials just seem like cheap tires.

I guess the Rikens are a sub category from Michelin, and the Daytons are a sub for Bridgestone.

We had Michelins on the car before, but after almost 5 years, 2 of the tires have torn, 1 of which I don't know how it hasn't popped on the freeway yet...

You guys think the Raptors are a good choice?

I wish I had cheap tires like that. 4 of the raptors is the same as 1.5 of my tires. icon_sad.gif
I would say you should be fine w/ them. I have a friend who has them and doesn't have any trouble.

see if they are on there and check their reviews/ratings

edit: My personal favorite for tires is currently BFG Traction TA H I love how they handle, last and perform in all weather situations. I'm on my 3rd set (Different cars)

I should've put best prices instead of cheapest lol...

But yea, my dad is saying to go with the Raptors too, so I guess I'll be taking it down to the shop tomorrow for some new shoes icon_razz.gif

Cooper Zeon ZPT's. Good handling, wet or dry. Lil' pricey, but sweet tires.

BFG or Michelin for the win. Spend the money and get good shoes.

KDW N2...yes, great tires and I ran 265/35/18 F and 285/35/18 rear

Only had like 5K on the tires when I sold the car to...

I will be getting Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/55/20 on the truck though....BGF AT KO's are just too flippin expensive at $389/tire

Well I just brought the car home with the Raptors. So far they seem ok, but it's been a very short time with them. I'll post pictures tomorrow after I wash the car and tires...
