Considering the fact that u want ipod connectivity, Alpine is the way to go. Period.

The HU is the most important part of ur car audio system. U don't wanna go cheap on it. U can skimp on speakers and sub, but don't on amps and HUs. Ul end up with a **** up electrical system or just be really **** off and end up going with a name brand one anyways.

Look for a HU with 3 sets of preouts.

U might also wanna look at Kenwood Excelon double dins.

ive never heard of thoes brands...

but like mad_eyes said Alpine is the best when it comes to Ipod connectivity and Head Units. If your only using it for 6 months why not get this:

will save you some cash and will work great with your ipod

I gotta double din on my car too, but I switched to single cuz I didn't feel it was worth it to blow my money on a top of the line double din. I'd rather put the extra money to the speakers, amps, or subs.
