So i've been working off my factory stereo which was a cassette player. used a mp3 player through it, but it broke icon_sad.gif. and don't feel like listening to whatever is on the radio, the 1 station i like has a commercial to song ratio that is like 20 to 1.

soooo anywayyssss... i need something $100 bucks or less and i can do myself.

Dual XDMR7700.. which is on closeout, but did some research and the reviews are up and down.

Kenwood KDC-MP338

Those 2 are my primary choices to choose from, i'm open minded so any suggestions would be great. icon_biggrin.gif

P.S. Don't try to sell me your stuff, i want to buy new. I don't want to buy your problems, don't want to get scammed, etc.

Beyond wanting it NEW I'd suggest checking your local craigs list, I check mine as well as the news channels classifieds and find stereo's, systems and all kinds of things for great prices all the time...

Beyond that (and I assume you're taking shipping into account) I'd say go for something beyond the dual, the kenwood is gonna be a better choice over that but I personally like Pioneer:

Alpine are good:

or Clarion (which I have a baby duck syndrome with, the deck I grew up with)

i think i'm gonna go with the alpine... i didn't put that 1 up because the looks were too simple.. but most are pretty ugly at that price, IMO, but that 1 looks decent and it's only temp till i save up for a new one along with subs and an amp. + never heard anything bad about alpine either.

MY PURCHASE WAS MADE, SOMEBODY LOCK THIS
