I just got a call..a guy wants me to do 4 completely fiberglassed systems for him for around $7,000. I'm thinking for equipment Fi SSD subs and JL Audio G1700 amps icon_twisted.gif I'm pretty brand loyal. I love the line of amps from JL, and love Fi's sound. They said they want the best, and without going to Sundown amps, which would be way over budget, JL's amps are the best IMO. I am posting this up for suggestions though, so hit me with your best shot. $4,650 is the estimate for brand new subs and amps. Add ~$1,500 in for supplies, wiring, maybe a battery in the suburban, and that's still almost $1000 profit.

Will be a long, arduous process, but I'll definitely post up progress pictures.

Personally 1000 profit for 4 complete FG high quality set ups(those subs are going to take alot of layers for strength obviously) is way low imo. That is only what 250 a set up? Not worth it imo. I charge that for ALOT less work painting a bumper and some side skirts.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. You should work more profit.

Regular audio shops probably charge a good 500-1000(depending on teh set up more)+ material + Cost of subs and **** for ONE set up like that. You are getting owned.

But I'm a 17 year old working out of a garage lmao. I'm glad to be getting the chance to work on some high quality vehicles, and I'm going to use high quality materials. He gave me his budget, and I chose the equipment. I have no problem with the profit, I'm just excited to finally get someone interested in me working for them. I'm not going to cut corners with this.
