Oznium neeeds a flash chat!

yes, the flashchat needs to be intergratedinto the forum. for example, when i click forums, at the top, somewhere aroun the oznium logo, i want to see a link thats large and in bold that says oznium flashchat chatroom. If you guys have been making external flashchats that isnt linked up anywhere on the oznium site, your chat is fail

These chats were ALL over the forums. Like I said they are fun for a week or two. Then people lose interest and don't do it anymore.

Yes, there was info within threads to go to others sites to get into a chat, but there wasn't a specific chat that was right on the oznium page. I thnk some kind of chat like facebook, might jsut work.

well, its just something to add is all, if someone uses it, its a success, if someone got pleasure out of the chat, its a success

yea kinds like gmail. if the other people are logged in it shows them on the side.

Ok -- I kicked around some code last night and come up with a possible solution for those who REALLY want a chat.

1 - I don't have access no can I get access to oznium's member listing...you'll have to create a separate account for the chat so please use your forum name when registering. Registration is just as quick as logging in so it's not a big deal.
2 - I created it from the ground up witin the past 24 hours so I'm sure there are bugs. I've only been the one to test it so don't get **** if something goes wrong -- at least someone is trying to do this LOL...just PM me about the bug and I'll squash it when I find time.
3 - My resolution is pretty damn large and the layout is poses no problem to me. If the chat takes up too much room, you can resize it if you're in IE. If you're not in IE and it really bothers you, let me know and I'll shrink the size of it.

If you guys use this, i'll buy the domain ozchat.com (or someone else can and just point it there). Until I see that people are actually going to use this, I'm probably not going to do much more with it.

Live chat on OZ would need at least 15 moderators. It would make the FCC look weak.

What kind of forum software does Oznium use? Still YaBB? I know whatever it is is heavily modified.

That's a shoutbox. That'd be like a live version of Korn's pointless thread. All it would do is annoy everyone except the five people that used it.

SubXero, most people who shop at Oznium don't even see the forum and gallery links at the top of the pages (and the few other places they're mentioned). I don't think a chat link would be any more efficient.
