Is their any way i can make it so the screen and buttons dont turn off after a couple seconds?

if your talking about a headunit then wire it so its not the ignition wire is going to the battery.... but then you got to remember to turn it off and on. wouldn't do it if i were you.

ummmm, are you sure because i think its more of a option on the hu. like the cars on and after i dont push any buttons the screen just turn off.

After doing a quick search. Go through the setting and turn off the "Blackout" mode. That should solve your issue.

Yeah, korn sounds like he is on the right track.

I have the 9813 and it does this. You should have a button that says Disp/Blackout. Press and hold it for 5 seconds and i should change back to normal mode.

I was about to say, I have the same HU and it doesn't do that to me...

Yeah i absolutely love it, its so easy to use.
and the ipod controls are AWSOME!!!
but the guy who installed mine messed it up or something.
i can push it in and pull it out super easy.
any suggestions?

Did he forget to put the HU ring on? Can u take a pic? Do u mean pull out the whole HU?

The one thing I wish this HU had was a motorized face plate. It already owns all, but it would be even cooler then. Ya, I never read the manual cuz it was so easy to use. Great colors too.

no the clips ro something didn't lock. so i went their and he fixed it took like 30 seconds hah
