My eclipse

new to this forum jus wanted to see what you guys thought of the car...ik its not the fastest or the flashiest car around but i'm doin my best to make it look good and perform well. it is a work in progress and the previous owner did some stupid things that i need to/hav already changed, any ideas on what else i could do? next project is to add a gst/gsx spoiler soon.

i wish =/ at least its a 5 speed though haha. when i get outta college i'm either gonna drop a turbo in it or sell this nd buy a gsx....always wanted one of those lol

Looks like a bird **** on the window while you were turning left and it smeared all the way across. Love the black on black. Rear end looks very plain like Gwyneth Paltrow. Think the blue and red parts need powdercoated metallic black.

haha yea the winshield is actually getting replaced tomorow luckily it looked terrible. and i plan on putting a gsx spoiler on it too, ne other ideas?

smoke the heads, black the tails, NEVER show anyone that cotton-candy-colored engine til you get it powder coated black, re-clear your rear back-up lights, get darker on the tinting all around (as dark as the law let's you go), you need to repaint the side-view mirrors (the paint doesn't match, cuz they're aftermarket) but they look HOT with the extra turn signals, get a GSX Spoiler, and work on the performance mods...

grats tho on the car, that is my FAVORITE body style of the eclipse, and almost my favorite body style of any car, period... it looks really well taken care of, and i love the black on black... I still see these driving around occasionally and seeing one in my side-view mirror is intimidating, they look **** on the streets =P~

yea, it means i have 5 days to get my car to an inspection station and get the window tint to legal standards, and in ri, you arent allowed to have ANY window tint according to law. i mean, i could risk it, but if i got pulled ova i think i'd get my license suspended.

lol dude if in RI you can't have ANY tinting, screw it... take all the tinting off ...

with a car like that tho, screw it... I'd move ;]

If you have the bolt-ons done, go to the next step. Cams, spray, pull weight out, or continue to save for FI.

don't pull the weight out just go with FI, your interior is sick

i would say get your engine bay to be at no more then 3 colors (black, grey and red) take off the valve cover and intake pipe and spray them red.

too many colors in there IMO

looks real clean i like it

looks good but i would spray some nightshade on those tails

if you can't tint i would leave it the way it is... i think if everything was pretty much black except for windows it'd be pretty pointless, plus if they don't want tint on windows why would they want it covering anything else?

Any aftermarket tint is illegal in PA too. Just risk it. Most cops don't care.

I just realized that you don't have a spoiler on. I think that's the first eclipse I've seen without one. That looks damn nice. Keep it off. It looks mad clean!

Nice looking ride,but you should get rid of all that red flex loom...it just doest look good.Black flex loom would look so much better.Also you should add two screws to the bottom of your front tag...to pull the tag frame flush to the tag.

Pretty decent - I like the fact that the wheels are not oversized to the point of having to run rubber band tires. A little sidewall is a good thing.

Any color besides black loom looks cheesy. Why would anyone want to draw attention to all that wiring and such?The point is usually to hide all that and make it less noticeable. But if you like that look...then go for it.
