So while I was at work today I was thinking to myself about putting LEDs in my room to give me light. But I would like the opinion of Oznium Forum Members to. I'm thinking of using of course white. These are my questions.

What item should I use to give me the most light?
Will this help me save any money on my electricity bill?
Will lining it around my wall produce enough light for me to see like I do now with bulbs?

That's it your opinions are well needed?

Thanks, Cory

http://www.oznium.com/home-led-light

if your concerned about electricity bills go with this uses 1/13th or 1/8th (cool and warm light) of amount of electricity of a normal bulb and is supposably just as bright if not brighter

Unless you use the light knatebetz linked you to, you'll most likely end up w/ less light than a standard bulb.

I think like a grid of the 1w modules maybe 5x5 with some sort of diffuser in front would give off a **** ton of light and be a lot more awesome than a lamp. Just thought of my next project thanks man :P

____________ - frosted plexi sheet
||1 1 1 1 1 1|| - painted dowel rods or lexan tubing, 1's are the lights
thin aluminum sheet on bottom to mount and diffuse heat

or line the edges of your ceiling with flexstrips

I ordered 3 of the Home LED bulbs. Currently, they are out of stock, but I'll update you when I get mine.

Please do. Also, you should take some before and after comparison pictures.

That would be hard to do. I ordered the warm white ones, which do not put out as much light as the cool white. I think the cool white would be a bit too white to me.
