Ok so youy guys know I got an Inferno V2 as a lighting source and it is pimp...

Well when it wants to work...

These are my problems so far...
- Green blocks/wires falling out: Corrected, used a dab of RTV silicone to seal them.
- Remote not working: Corrected, battery replaced.
- Display not showing pattern: Corrected Display cord not snug.
- Still happens to come lose tho, very annoying. Applied dab of RTV, in place now ;/
^^ Replace connection in V3 please? icon_smile.gif
- Now they are acting funny... Sometimes the remote will work and then the display won't. Then the Display will work then the system won't.

I have heard of a couple of you say sometimes there are bad ECUs... ?? What and how do you know when you get one of these? I don't think mine is bad, but the place where you put the Dispaly thing is kinda "wiggly" <-? loose...

Any other suggestions? Or fixes I can implement? The wires and display connection seem to stay in place now. The little dab of RTV works but for so long ;/ I see where some of it is already is getting lose...

So far the system is PIMP!!!

Ok this is the main problem I have found.

The system is changing on the dispaly but it stuck on a pattern....
^^

What can cause this? I unplug the S-Video cable and put it back in and it seems like it wants to fix it... but then I cannot control the lights???

The display was an Issue I had with the V1 inferno. It came loose a couple of times.

I don't know whats causing the pattern to stick.

Seems like you got a really bad V2. I never had any of the problems that you mentioned.

Check to make sure no pins are bent in your display connector, and that no RTV made it into the plug itself. Almost all the problems you've listed so far would be caused by the display not communicating as well as intended.

Aken,

Thats what I am thinking that the plug is not sitting well on the ecu... It feels like there is play? Not really sure going to mess with it more sun/mon kinda tierd now ;(

No RTV got "in" the plug because I have now peeled it all OFF and have checked the pins, none are bent ;/

I think it is something to do with the connection point... the more I tihnk about it I believe it was kinda of lose there to begin with ;(

This stinks.

Will report back tomorrow.
