I picked one up a while ago and just learned about some of the applications you can download for it. My current favorite is Remote, where you can control your iTunes library from anywhere in your house (if you have wifi) using your touch. Album artwork shows up on the screen and the controls for playing the song are on the touch as well, but the song plays through the speakers on the computer. Fun to mess with people when they walk next to the computer, but fun to use overall.

Anyone else use some of these apps? any other cool ones i should know about?

I downloaded Remote. Havn't really used it yet. Pandora is a must have. I also use the Facebook app and the AIM app. That's pretty much it. I haven't paid for any yet, those are all free.

I tried Remote, and no matter how much I try, it won't sync with my iTunes, so I kinda gave up with it... Some of my favorite Apps are:

Tap Tap
Lightsaber
PapiJump (VERY addictive)
Break Lite
Urban Spoon
Movies
Zippo Lighter
Cube Runner
Banner

All of those except Banner are free (Banner's 99 cents). I'd buy Apps, but they're really iffy, especially the games. So yea... Let me know of any apps you find that are neat icon_smile.gif

I use remote to control my music when I am in the other room. If you have a multi room setup, it's really nice.

Other apps I have and like (not already mentioned):
MLB
Sportstacular
AOL Radio
Tris
Dactyl
Spore ($$$)
Labyrinth LE
Weather Bug
Shazam

Pandora is my most used app I think.

MLB = Baseball scores -- including pitch by pitch now
Sportstacular = All types of sports scores. I use it for college football scores
AOL Radio = free streaming radio
Tris = tetris
Dactyl = some weird bomb game that is kinda fun
Spore ($$$) = A knockoff of the spore PC game. Not worth the money IMO, but fun
Labyrinth LE = a free maze game that uses the tilt
Weather Bug = Better than the default weather app
Shazam = Hear a song, press a button, it tells you the artist and song and saves it for later
