Ok so living with name Ian has been a great thing but i am sick and **** tired of literate and educated people mispronouncing my **** name. Like wtf, its not hard, its pronounced E-AN not I-AN like its spelled, the name has been around forever and i just dont get how people don't know how to pronounce it the right way. Its sooo retarded, I have never had a teacher pronounce it right and they said it wrong at my 6th grade graduation, its just rediculous. Even teachers that have had me before will say it wrong, its sooo stupid omfg!!!!

Who the hell says I-an? It's always been E-an to me. All these stupid names that people are using nowadays is screwing up all the classics. Now you never know how to pronounce anything because they are either spelled wrong (on purpose just to be different), totally weird, or ghetto...like, Shaniquaboocephus.

Well as I'm sure you know,it's quite obvious it's the spelling I-AN messing everyone up.I actually know a few Ian's who spell their name as you,and go by the pronunciation I-AN icon_confused.gif So I guess for those who actually go by I-AN...you can thank them for messing it up for you. icon_surprised.gif

By the way I'm quite familar with people messing up names. icon_evil.gif My name is JC that's it,two simple letters which don't stand for anything...yet you would not believe how many people have such a hard time remembering it.I've been called JT,CJ,JD,JR,CT,DJ and so on. icon_lol.gif Check this out,I've had people say to me,that's not your real name, now tell me your real name?Or when I correct them and say that's not my name,it is JC and they say whatever...it's close enough.CLOSE ENOUGH! WTF! icon_eek.gif I sometimes get people who insist that the two letters in my name has to stand for something and get **** when I tell them it doesn't. puppy_dog_eyes.gif When I was born the Nurse actually told my Mother that she couldn't name me JC. icon_lol.gif My Mom laughed at her and told her excuse me,he is being named after his father and grandfather and by the way,I can name my son any damn name I please. icon_lol.gif

Sorry for the long read.lol

People mispronounce my last name all the time....I found that rolling with it is much easier than trying to explain the differences in saying it.
