Thanks,
I was not sure about the brush guard before but after I put it on I really liked it. Im gonna add some more HID's to the truck when I add in 2 more KC style lights on the brush guard. Ive also considered putting one under the bed of the truck facing back... but not sure about that one. |

Corvette,
I see my fair share of High beams... lol but they dont bother me with the tint. Ive had them for 7 months and I have only been pulled over once, and he just wanted to know where to get them from. I get alot of compliments on them and I get alot of rear view mirrors beeing adjusted when im behind people. Ive thought about getting a projection type headlight replacement but not found one I like yet. Thanks Tim Heres a Driver seat shot of HID's (in my driveway and neighbor has a slight hill, they really do way out there if its flat surface).

So you admit to being a douche to other drivers on the road but don't care. Although I don't know what I am suprised it's the typical attitude of america today... |

i hate being blinded by trucks behind me from mirrors, i'm in a small car and having pretty much any suv or truck behind be is tall enough to have their lights in my face pretty much.
i'm not diggin the brush guard, my dad has the same truck lifted a little like 2.5" with some bigger tires, it's a nice look. alot more aggressive then a stock 1, i'll take a shot sometime when i'm over at his this weekend. |

Truck looks nice, but the HIDs would **** me off.
The output doesn't seem that nice. Besides that, the only thing I would change is the "Upper White Trash" banner. Makes it look like a tool drives it. I really do like the overall look though. |

its not that were negative, it more that we don't see whats so great, not to mention he put a thread up about his truck he can be given a confidence boost to make his head a bit larger than normal or he can be questioned on how his truck differs from the rest of the average trucks around. all in all he set himself up to be in the position hes in. And i'm not trying to be a ***** about it i just dont see what makes this truck so unique, i just want to find out if theres something i dont see if theres a hidden uniqueness to it... |

Congrats on making picture of the day. Pictures are chosen from members galleries and selected for each day of the week in advance.
I like the brush guard, keep it, makes the truck look nicer and provides a purpose. Haven't seen that rear decal before, pretty clever Your gas mileage really has to be horrible |

All opinions are welcome. Its my truck and I personally love it. I dont expect everyone to like anything about it. I love hearing the diffrent opinions. I did make this post but not to give myself an ego boost or anything, Im new and alot of people may not of had the chance to look at it, I seen it was POTD and yes I was pretty stoked about that.
Barbie, I guess the uniqueness about it is that its far from stock, looks, sounds and runs like a champ. Lift, Tires/Rims alone is valued at over 3500. Minor mods like making it look more like the sport version are things that people not familiar with the truck would notice but dodge nuts would.. If you get up close and walk around it you can see the amount of $ ive put in her. And im still getting 11mpg (13 stock) so the performance end has not been ignored. Which in my area you see alot of junk cars with rims and stereo's and not much more. Chris, Underneath the Upper White Trash banner it says Mud Racing in blue, Its hard to see but thats the name me and my friends came up with for our Mud trucks, we all have it on our trucks... People in the area who are into that sorta thing know what it means and know our banner... And im not a Tool... well mostly not.. lol Chris, The output of the HIDS is literally night and day compared to stock, My roommate has a 99 Dodge and we sat side by side and my lights overwhelmed his and went alot father. Needless to say hes wanting them now. The picture I posted was one I took a few nights ago for another forum, Next time I go out to the country where theres not a street light every 20ft Im gonna take more pics. Thanks to everyone for looking and giving me your opinions. Keep em coming |

Haters are just jealous... People always wanted to hate on me when I wanted a BMW... But hell most of them that will always hate are stuck driving a stock car that mommy and daddy gave them ;) or they just don't like to customize their on vehicle... hah Don't explain yourself to those fools, it looks fine.. if anything go higher ;) hahaha |

Nice truck. I like the choice of tires with the lift, brush guard and exhaust. The windshield banner kinda ruins everything tho... Plus the fact that you're clearly blinding other drivers (Flashing and adjusting rearview mirrors) and you don't care... Did you aim them down at all? Just my $0.02...

The truck is lifted. It's going to blind people w/ or w/out HIDs. Even if he invested in projectors the extra height is still going to blind people. |

Come on people, take a pill.
If this thread has to be cleaned up again I'll just close it. It wastes the mods time when they have to sort out a thread, especially multiple times per day. |

Most people that can afford nice trucks don't give a hoot about gas milage. If they did, they would be driving something smaller...
Nice truck. That back sticker is funny as hell, "Dodge the dad. Ram the daughter." LOL |

And seeing I drive a lifted truck also, yeah, doesn't matter what you have in the headlights... you blind everyone. Go big, or go home. Right? |

I got plenty of mirror adjustments before with the truck sitting stock. If your drive a small car you put yourself in that spot to get the lights. I have a ford taurus I use when I gotta do road trips so I know how it feels. Yes I have the HIDS and yes they blind people, do I care? yes but not enough to take out the HIDS. Maybe when I get a few tickets I will but since I live in the city and pass cops all the time and even work next to a police station and have never been warned or stopped for my lights beeing to bright I think ill keep em. I'd rather see a truck with HIDS then a moron with high beams on because they have a low beam out and there too lazy to replace it.
The Name of the rims is another name for the male reproductive part, but I understand why the censor would block it.. lol Yes its 4x4. The front end you can see the pumpkin with the gears and it says 4x4 on the tailgate. As for the vinly, I get alot of people pulling up to me at lights laughing about the rear decal and alot of people hoot and hollar when they read the front.. I do plan to add some glow soon. And I forgot to mention I have Blue Leds in my headlights for alarm notification. TRogers, thanks for cleaning up the post, if it gets to be a hassle just delete the whole thing, My question was answered about how the POTD is selected so the post has served its purpose to me. |
