when **** annoying people hate hardcore on your lights, like no matter what?
like sometimes you can be cruisin around a busy area and most of the people will look and point and think its pretty badass and give you a thumbs up or something, and these arent even people you know but then the people that you actually know arent really in to cars or lighting, but they hate like crazy i want to smack some **** sometimes! |

Meh. I drive the car not them. And in the end 95% of the time I think my car is better than theirs so it doesn't mean much. And then I usually remind them I am banging their sister. When they don't have one. "You will in like 4 months when she is delivered"

coming from the side of people who hate them and think their ***, how about you ask them why they dont like them?
from my perspective it was something fun to play with when i was 16, but once i bought a real car and got over that hump of "performance is money" i realized that if im going to enjoy a car im not going to enjoy making it look like a christmas tree, im going to enjoy it by taking it to the track. plus i mean come on, neons attract attention and most of the ricers i see with garish kits neons spoilers and gaudy rims race around town like their king ****. its ass hole kids like that who make driving an actual track car (not just one they want to look like one which it doesnt) look bad. now im not saying all people who throw neons on their cars are ricers, but its an easy stereotype. its like saying black people dont get sunburned easy, but it happens. when 3 inches from the sun. |

i wouldnt say neons make there car look like ricers, i would say big aluminum spoliers, bumper stickers that dont have the actual product its "sponsering", only fart cans put in.
I can see where your coming from rags. when your young you just want something that looks "cool" err dont let em bother you ethan. |

My best friend is all into the JDM and all that and he is totally against an LED anywhere near his car. says its rice no matter what.
i just have to say whatever. i spend my money on relatively well priced products for my truck and he buys "JDM" expensive ass parts for his car |

As a honda owner, JDM is retarded. If you want the look of an import, buy a import. Stop buying headlights that cost $400 - and they aren't even projectors.
Sorry to get off topic. |

JDM is an ebay name. the concept of "Japanese Domestic Market" is retarded the majority of "JDM" parts are not imported from japan and the ass end of them that says "made in germany" or something prove it. and buying performance parts from a country that has far more strict emissions policies than this one makes no sense either. sure many parts are imported because they made a car foul an emissions test, but chances are you could get the equal of that part without spending money on "import" fees whether or not they are really there or its just another ebay scam.

Bawahb ababa I really can't believe I read that JDM is an ebay name... Seriously? Most cars that are Honda/Nissan are considered your major JDM market... JDM engines are proven to be stronger in every aspect... Hell Euro-Spec M3 engines are TOTALLY different just because of emissions.. I don't pay importing fees as a US citizen for private consumer use. Even if you buy a clip I have never paid import charges... 20+ clips to date and 30+ swaps... |

I think people should do to their cars what they want...its why its their car and money.
Who cares what others think. I used to get some comments like that regarding the stang....offered to give them the keys to drive it...of course the ysaid yes. Get outta here. If you dont like it so much why would you want to drive it or own it? Usually its someone simply showing off to try and get some attention by making a comment that might get a laugh....When I see these people in public, its quite funny to simply just say "wow, aren't you mature". I usually get the better laugh. |

they perform better because of parts that dont need to imported. did you know the toyota cavalier, a car that imported to japan, was assembled in ohio? part of the price clips and motors are sold at have an imported fee attatched. maybe you didnt pay it, but where-ever you got it from did. theres taxes and fees to bring things like that into the country. period. theres also companies like shep, crower, ross that make the same parts to make your engine perform in "j-spec" that are made here. a 1zz block sold in a junk yard here is the same as a 1zz block sold in japan, how you tune it run it and what parts are in it make it perform the way it does, not where the block was built. as for euro-spec motors same thing, where a motor is built doesnt give it "godly rice" powers, how its built does. |

To my recollection there are NO forged parts for a euro-spec in the states...
Most clips are purchased don't have "fees" attached you pay a flat rate and it arrives at your door... Also the euro-spec being built in germany for german roads means something always has for any BMW.. thats proven from the numbers... a BMW made in the states have fallen apart... a BMW built in germany is god... maybe it is because there is a german torquing down my bolts and an american is sloppy? who knows... Euro-Spec = cast American = alum.. ;/ a 1zz is a poor comparison... the FE vs FED... come on weak motor anyways... compare it to a KA vs SR or RB... Compare it to a full celica clip... had a customer want this actually... found the car in canada and actually had it shipped. the clip came in two pieces ;) got the rear too for parts ;) It was wild it came in and there were so many racing parts STOCK engine crank'd up and dyno hit on 206hp we just did a plug and play... Your going to tell me there is no difference in the 1JZ american vs import? How an engine is built is a MAJOR part... but some engines have always proved them self more so then an american made verison... numbers are there as well as seeing it first hand for the longest ;/ I am about to get sick of 240s, and supras... seriously... honda is actually not as bad anymore ;/ I cannot believe I said that... |

idk to me thats totally true i just turned 17 and i want something at my highschool of 3300 kids to stand out with, and turn heads. and my car is a sunfire so who am i kidding, no matter what bolt on **** i buy its not going to be fast so why waste the money on it, that i dont have anyways
for sure some day i want an actual powerful and fast car but i cant afford that **** right now, but one thing is for sure, i absolutely know that neons and leds are just for fun and something i do to just have a good time, and those are the ONLY thing on my car that can fall in to the rice catergory, everything else on my car is audio.. and tint haha, oh and the intake but my friends bought that for me idk where im going with this.. im tired haha |
