I was thinking about getting my exhaust dumped on the V6, just not liking how the tail pipes stand alone. Im looking for the clean look. Any opinions?

Go with an electric dump. That way you can play nice with the cops when just cruising and not be too loud and when it comes down to it you can switch over to the dump and be one loud mother ****. I don't know what all it takes for those but you can easily search it. They are pretty cool.

40 bucks gets you a manual cutout. You have to climb under the car and unbolt the cutout cover each time you want to use it.

You can get electric cutouts where you just press a button and the cover comes off the pipe in the $200 range. $250 is a bit steep.

Well I live in Texas, its a normal thing to hear loud ass trucks at all times of the night. Especially in my town, they dont check emissions when you get your inspection.

loud ass trucks and smaller displacement engines are different. think of every time you hear a ricer import go by... do you think yummm that sounds good or GOD DAMN thats annoying. im not trying to rag on your idea too much, i have a similiar size engine you do (3.4L) id try a more agressive exhaust set up first and see if you want it louder or not.

My exhaust is dumped right after the muffler and isn't too loud at all.

If you just dump it somewhere after the muffler you've got now it shouldn't really be any louder than it is now. Unless you're looking to make it really loud.
