Hey all

So yeah im kinda new to this so bear with me, i just recived an order of 2 LED strips for the interior of my car, i asked a couple of my buddies whats the easiest way of going about setting this up, now i am completley new to this so the words that they were saying werent exactly cooperating with my brain, but from what i got they said that i could hook it up directly from the fuse box, i just have to find out which one is giving off 12v, does anyone have a guide that would help me with installing this, pictures would be helpful as well, oh and i also might want to put a switch on them as well, or something so that when i turn the car off, they go off as well, and when i turn it on, they turn on. The LED strips that i have only came with the Strip, and the positive/negative cord attached to it, and as faras i know they work(tested it with a 9v battery) i just would like to know if there is a guide anywere that can help me start from scratch and help me with installing these into the fuse box, thanks in advanced

And do some searching. You will learn alot more from searching and reading than us just telling you.

If you have specific questions let us know and we would be happy to help.

get an add a circuit, it's in the first link korn put up. i ended up doing mine that way, very easy to do, made it go off the radio fuse holder. took about an hour to wire it all up, should be shorter but i had to rewire it because the way i had it before didn't work.

So from what im understanding, using an add-a-circuit, would it look something like this?

The wire coming from the add a circuit will connect to one prong of the switch, now the one wire from the led strip will connect to the other prong and the other one coming from the strip has to be grounded, i just need to find out which one is positive and negative, seeing as though the wire colors are silver and a yellowish color lol

also i would have to find the right add a circuit....or all of them the same, or do any of you have any recomendations??
