Infinity Kappa 692.9i
I have these in my car, they're awesome. Might wanna also look into CDT audio or MB Quart. |

MB Quart has the sharpest highs out of all the brands, Infinity is next, then CDT, then Pioneer. I wouldn't go with Pioneer speakers. They're better than Alpine, but that's not saying much. Do you have a sub? If so, MB Quart or Infinity would work because the sub will take most of the bass. Even if you don't they are still great choices. Are you planning on amping the speakers?

yeah i have one of the nicer 12 inch pioneer with a bridged 760watt amp going to that
and yeah im also planning on amping the 6X9s and the 5.25 with the same amp, havent thought too much about the amp yet yeah im probably going with the MB Quart ( im happy with those for the doors) or the infinity, i got 2 stores near me, one is always stocked with infinity other with MBs so its probably between those two, but as far as the 6x9s go i want them to hit hard with the bass too, even though i have a sub |

In that case you should get the amp now then. No point on getting the speakers installed if eventually they have to gut ur car again anyways. I'd suggest either the Alpine PDX 4.100 or the Alpine PDX 4.150. I have the 4.150 in my car and it's great. It doesn't get get anywhere as hot as my MTX amp which pushes 400w RMS. The Alpine PDX amps are true wattage so it produce 600w RMS (actually a little less because it will run at 12v). The 4.100 is a great amp, but the 4.150 is even better. Honestly, it's not that much more than the 4.100 so you might as well get the 4.150 if you plan on purchasing the 4.100. About the speakers, just go to each shop and give them a listen. However, I understand if you wanna match speaker brands. |

okay its between the MB quarts and the infinitys for sure now, but i think im just gonna go with a 400w max 4 channel pioneer amp because i can get that wholesale edit: plus my budget isnt that much right now to be able to drop 3 or 4 hundred bucks on an amp
plus i looked at the alpine amps and that **** is expensive! way out of my price range right now |

Just to warn you, your amp will get pretty damn hot then. Even though MTX is a well known and reliable brand, the MTX 400w amp I have gets way hotter than my Alpine PDX 4.150 (600w). But Pioneer will be a better brand than some random cheap pos. |
