Lol. If you say so. Not my life that is on the line so I don't care hahah. I isn't able to do anything right now. But when he has the power people will start acting. You think the KKK is going to be fine with a black president? I could care less what color he is. He could be purple for all I care. But they are going to FLIP!

If he wins, Obama will step into the worst economic crisis we've seen in 50 years, a seemingly endless war in Iraq, rampant unemployment, a deteriorating public school system, Iran trying to piece together nukes, and health care that is lacking or absent entirely .
That being the case I really doubt the first thing on his mind is, "Oh no, what's the KKK got cooking up ?" icon_biggrin.gif

Obama's going to do what Clinton did. Ride it out and take glory for it...if he will make any glory being socialist.

The economy fixes itself. The government should "bail us out" and fix our problems. HAHAHA. Democrats just wanting to give and give. Stupid Bernanke.

I am sure he is worried about living. I know I would be. He is going to be in a tough spot. A spot no black person has ever seen before. Like I said I could care less what color he is. But there are alot of people out there that take it VERY seriously.

The way I look at it..McCain won't solve our country's problems...he'll keep us above water until somebody else comes along to do it. Obama will be the **** in the public pool that just dunks everybody under and holds them there...but we won't recover from it. We're damn close to another depression, he is the last thing we need right now.

I wouldn't exactly call George W. Bush's enrollment in the National Guard "Service", have you seen some of the letters he wrote to his parents?

That has to be the most truthful statement I read in your entire reply. If only the integration of ideals the public at large believes in wasn't only a ploy to get into office.
How many campaigns ideals (Call them platforms/promises or what you will) Have been held when the moment comes that they don't need to peddle themselves anymore.

In a Utopian society perhaps....Changes in government, historically speaking have always been made by force. This is the way of the world.

I think unemployment is at 6%? Thats not that bad... compared to 30%+ in the depression...

I honestly have not FELT or seen any real change in the economy I am sorry... just a whole lot of people mongering about "Oh I have no money, the economy sucks." Instead of blaming yourself and getting of their lazy ass they want to blame someone else...

Seriously no president is going to build you a resume and submit job applications for you.

Sorry for the rant, I am just sick and tired of hearing people have economic woes... THE WORLD IS STILL SPINNING THERE IS PLENTY OF WORK...

I have had as many as three jobs at a time... I was use to making X amount of money and had an accident... I can't do that line of work anymore therefore I got several jobs until I can do something else...

I say we cut back on welfare and actually make people work... Instead of allowing a family to keep applying for welfare we should make them get a job.

Of the 42 presidents in American history exactly 20 of them served in the military. Some of the most notable ones, George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, and Harry Truman all came along at the end of or following a major war/campaign. And all of them made a serious positive impact on the country. This supposed "Endless" war in Iraq is very similar to past wars. That being said, I think we need a military leader in the White House. Someone that understands the ins and outs of combat.

I don't see why Reverend Wright is still such a big deal... to be honest, I kinda agree with what he was saying...

America is very hypocritical about it's Christianity, Which let's face it, is pretty much the religion of the land. Even with all this, we still kill others, drop bombs, and execute our own offenders.

None of this is bad in my eyes, it just seems that as a country, we portray this image of freedom and the christian values in general... but do a lot of the opposite.

I'm sure I'll be flamed for this, and I'm not entirely sure I agree with Wright, but I can't imagine everyone in that room did either, yet just because Obama went to the church and was close to his pastor, that he necessarily has the same views. Come on, just because you're friend's with someone, doesn't have to mean that you believe the same things as they do.

I sincerely believe that the very BEST course of action for every non-Democrat in Congress, following Obama's inauguration and while the Democrats are in control of the House, the Senate and the White House, is to stand united.

NOT to filibuster.

NOT to scheme.

NOT to obstruct.

But simply to cast the very same vote, on every issue, every time, without exception:

"Present."

Let the chips fall where they may, let the RESULTS speak for themselves, and let the Democrats take the credit/blame that they deserve - as it will be SOLELY their own doing.
