This controller suits all of your requirements: http://www.oznium.com/rgb-led-remote-controller

This LED Ribbon Strip can be installed into the cupholder: http://www.oznium.com/led-ribbon

Your music/sound interface requirement really increases the cost and complexity of this project. If you're willing to settle with a simpler million color effect, please consider these which already come with a tiny controller that automatically fades through the colors: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

Alright Thanks a lot for the info but I still have a few questions.
Firstly-Is there a way that I can have lets say lights in the cup holders but also under the foot well of my dash and under the seats. Is there a way that I can control these lights separately? As in having the lights in the foot well area and under the seat set as one color while the cup holder lights are going through different sequences? As in music mode or flashing mode?

Secondly- Apart from the different remote and the water proof rgb strips and lots of wires is there anything else I would need to make this work?

Thirdly-I don't have a whole lot of time currently so I cant look through the forum like I would usually do but is there a set up for the wires that I can follow that is somewhat similar to mine or a chart that can help me see what I need? Like where to hook up the power to or where to mount things or connect different wires?

when we had meteor tubes someone replaced the LED's from blue to RGB and used the controller that was already there.
Today you could just use maybe a 2.4 or 4.7" Million Color Flex LED Strip and contour it to the cupholder and get our
http://www.oznium.com/rgb-led-controller
That would work well i think
