Bored and Curious as to what everyone on her does to make a buck.

My day job (6am-2pm) I work for a local supermarket "Shop N' Save" in the meat dept, just a clerk right now but 1st of the new year I'll be a cutter making $18.50hr

Some afternoons I work at a Mechanic Shop, I own 1/2 of there tow truck and tow for them for extra cash. Its a great gig since I get free labor and cost on parts for my cars/trucks.

Night's. I Repo cars 2-3 nights a week. "Support your local repo agent... miss a Payment! lol

So I do a few things, I used to Repo full time but got tired of living in the damn tow truck and diesel went too high to drive around all night, now I use my 93 Taurus to spot cars and save gas.

Future jobs: Hopefully Law Enforcement.. That my goal by the time I turn 26 to be in that field. Got 3 years left on that though.

Maintenance Technician for one of the largest substance abuse rehabs in Florida. Not bad for $15.52 an hour. Should go up a bit in January.

I started at the Grocery Store 6 years ago when they opened pushing carts for 6.40hr, Got my first raise before I got my first check..lol Im now at 12.50hr. 40-48hrs a week and Great Benefits and there free for another 3 months then I gotta pay a whopping 4 bucks a week for them. Its 90/10 coverage with a 1500 out of pocket cap then its 100% woot!

Yea Journeyman Cuter makes 18.50hr only downside I gotta "Float" that means they can send me to any one of the 42 stores any day of the week which sucks because from my house I could end up driving an hour to work farthest on is like 65 miles away (you bet im taking a sick day on that day though lol) But hopefully I get a "Home" store after a few months so I can go to the same place instead of wondering where there gonna send me from week to week.

Currently unemployed icon_sad.gif

I was a Sales Consultant at Saturn of Mentor. It was my dream job to sell Saturn's. I was trying to get a job at Saturn when I lived in PA for 2 years with no success. Moved up to Ohio and within a week I had my own desk and everything at Saturn. Except with the economy the way it was and my no prior experience in auto sales, I coudn't sell enough cars, so they had to let me go.

Currently seeking new employment.

I work about 30 hrs/week at a local fish restaurant for $7.75/hr. No benefits.

http://www.willowpondcatfishrestaurant.com/index.html

I also do some tech jobs on the side: fixing internet, system restores, data recovery, that sort of thing. Made (with help from Oz!) the website above. Pretty easy money for the most part. Considering taking some classes in that sort of stuff so I can make a living off of it, since my education degree is taking me no where fast.

Currently Laid off and drawing Un-employment.

Before that I was working as a Draftsman/Supervisor making $37.50/hr.

Still a good chance to get a call back doing similar stuff making the same amount. Currently talking to a buddy of mine whom owns an A/V installation business about doing some drawings for him.
