Hey guys, Im new around here and looking for opinions on what color of LED to go with to showcase the underbody of my truck. Im torn between red and blue for the most part. Im worried red will be too dim and not give the look im going for, but also worried blue just does not go with the truck. White is also an option but seems just too plain. Im open to all suggestions, so what do yall think. Thanks.

Im curious how you guys would setup this red/white combo? This is what I was thinking... a strip in the front to showcase the dropbasket, 2 around the front trac bars, 2 strips under the cab somehwere, all 4 wheel wells, 2 over the rear end and one up high under the bed...

Red, or Red/White via 1 Watt LED flood lights would look amazing.

White/red is begging to be pulled over.

I suggest purple. I don't think enough people use purple, and with all that chrome and red purple would "POP".

Sweet ass truck BTW, any more pics?

I wowuld Go red all the way. I'd also suggest building your own underglow instead of a pre-built kit. By this I mean measuring the distance from wheel to wheel for the sides and selecting a safe mounting spot for both front and rear glow. If the situation calls for it, you can use a flat aluminum bar for a mounting surface. LED strips provide the most uniform glow and are thin enough to not stick out. Granted they're a little on the expensive side, but why cut corners when the rest of the truck looks so good.

thanks for the help everyone! While i agree red would look great, I decided to go with some of those flexible thin "cool white" led strips. Plus we are thinking we'll need something like 20' possibly and those are inexpensive. I just need something for indoor shows to highlight certain aspects and something that can be pulled from the truck when the show is over so it can be used on other trucks. I also liked blue, but it was just too blue. Ill try to get you guys some pics of how the setup will look on this truck. Thanks everyone!
