You can guy these a million placed online, in order for Phil to make money selling these he would need a large selection and the space required to do as such would eliminate any potential profits for a LIGHTING buisness.
IMO. |

Eh. While a necessity in glow photography. I don't see it being an oznium product.

Yea I actually just tossed out three tripods the other day. They were super cheap and didn't last more than a week, and then the little mounting bases would disappear.
I need to invest in a high quality tripod. Any suggestions for a good one under $200 ? |

Phil, I have a nice one I would be willing to sell for 30 bucks plus shipping. Don't remember what I paid, but its pretty sturdy and stands pretty tall when fully extended ( taller then my eyeball )

Gorillapods are awesome. I just picked one up myself. The thing is amazing. Most of the pictures in my Fall/Winter thread are taken using it. |

X2 on Manfrotto.
And that gorilla pod probably wouldn't support a DSLR. |

I have a that standard tripod with 3 sections to each leg that is very adjustable and sturdy that I picked up at bestbuy for $40, a little tabletop deal I got free with some lenses from ebay, and a full on Stickypod kit for dash/exterior mounting.
Bottom line, it's all abuot placement of the tripod, exposure settings, and most important.... USE THE FREAKING TIMER SETTING!! Set it for 2 seconds, press the button, step away from the tripod, and don't touch it until the shot is completed. no shake. my more recent shots are not a good example as I hadn't unpacked the clip that attaches the camera to the tripod. Please don't go back to that Hong Kong-style shop in San Fran. That guy was nice to let us use his cardboard, but man, that place was sketch. |
