I have a project in the works and was thinking of using one ballast for 2 bulbs...don't really want to hide 8 ballast in the front of my truck

im pretty sure they will overload the ballast
and why in gods name do you need 8 hid bulbs on a truck with no projectors? You're going to blind the hell out of people. |

Don't think you can do that... I see 4 sets of lights now, HIDs in each? Wouldnt make sense to put HIDs in your highbeams tho.

Negative ghostrider. Not possible
You can pick up Slim ballasts that are significanly smaller like the H3 kit I have on the FS section: http://www.oznium.com/forum/topic19527 |

No, will not work...
why not just get an extra set of HIDs and wire them in? and why in the world would you need 3 sets of HIDS |

alright so i guess imma have to hide all 8 ballast
I have HIDs in the low beam and the fogs..will be adding them in the high beam and in another set of fogs. They will be hidden so not going to look gaudy. why do high beam HID?...bored? want to do something different... oh n radio flyer..be careful with reverse HIDs...i had them for like 2 wks..started melting ****..not cool. I made a thread about it awhile back |

I have an aftermarket housing. I tested them originally with 100w halogens for the entire length of lynard skynard's "freebird" with no problems. If i'm ever in a situation where i'm backing up for more than 5 minutes....I think I'll just turn around. Are your second fogs true fog lights or driving lights? |

yeah those are PIAAs 110watt
but the ones i will be putting is going in the opening in the middle of the bumper all the way back so you won't be able to see them..maybe from far away but not that much..might even smoke alittle the lense so the chrome doesn't stand out too much. Ive been doing alot of night driving on back roads so need/want the extra light |

The only problem I see is not being able to flash your high beams because of the warm up period.

My plan is to make a 9007 fit so it has a "high" beam bulb. this way i could flash a high beam..doubt it will be seen but whatever. Also keep in mind my headlights will be pointing down..to the ground, cuz thats what i really want to light up. Not trying to create a wall of light and blind the **** out of people. fogs might have alittle glare but its not going to be that bad |
